- This is a collaboration between me and David Chiesa of Logical Art forthe Money Lisa exhibition, (Mondo Pop Art Gallery, Rome, Italy). Everyvisual artist involved had been asked to re-make and modify theoriginal monna lisa painting. This is what we did, the concept behidthis is quite simple: after more than 500 hundred years, the good oldmonna lisa might be not that young anymore...just slightlyolder...don't you think so ?

Atomic Rocket Comics: the full story
At the end of the 60's, the italian publishing company Atomic Rocket Comics commited itself to a full round artistic project, drawing esthetic inspiration from the most colourful styles coming from overseas and from the tradition of the national noir comic book genre, also known as "fumetto nero". Through the making of comic books and picture stories as well, and several gadgets too aimed at entertaining the readers, Atomic Rocket produced stories of masked super heroes and its content was very extreme and cruel, and it was made even more appealing by a fine esthetic choice.
Unfortunately, the religious and political organizations of that time found such products unbearable, because Atomic Rocket Comics started a real cultural fire and its impact on society was massive. And, alas, it was a real arson (a malicious one) to bring to a financial bankrupt the company, causing all the creative team involved in this project to disappear into anonymity, leaving behind themselves, in the years to follow, a trail of mistery. And nothing more.
Years passed by, and suddendly, a bunch of collectors started tracking down the "Lost archives" of Atomic Rocket in order to revive the legend and making it available to the public once again. So they went and searched among the ruins and the remains of the publishing company's headquarters, and found evidence of it existence; and then they retrieved all of the material they managed to find in order to bring it out of the darkness where it had been buried in , and to show it once again to the fans, giving new glory to these amazing characters.Art Direction, Cinematography, Directing2013 -

This video was 100 % approved by the artist and has been shot with a Canon Eos 5D MKII, it's all about geometries, industrial landscapes, and a sense of loss and abandonment. And reflections too, as U'll see.

Who's the White Demon ? Or, to be precise, who are they ? They are members of a cult dedicated to crime and violence, nobody knows their identities. They are linked to the accident that turned the private detective John Milton into Paper Man, who became their nemesis afterwards. Who hides behind this powerful organization ? Some say it's Dottor Morte - Doctor Death -, with whom the White Demons usually joined forces in order to take over Atomic City, spreading terror and fear everywhere ! He wears colored glasses because is native world is in black & white, and through them he has the chance to see this reality in color. He fights crime and injustice mostly at night, he is totally allergic to light. This is an "experimental video" that I've made with a new Casio Exilim camera that I've bought. I wanted to capture the feeling of taking a walk alone in a snowy town at night, besides it rarely snows in my hometown, so it was definitely a very special occasion !
